Our practice was founded in 1988 by Dra Ana Cristina Villalaín. Preventive and minimally invasive dentistry has been the basis for our service and care.
Advancements in modern dental technologies in our practice have made it possible for us to greatly enhance your smile; from simple procedures such as teeth whitening, cosmetic bonding, and cosmetic contouring, to more sophisticated procedures such as all ceramic crowns, veneers, and dental implants.
We have a simple goal: to preserve your natural teeth for life and maintain your overall oral health at the highest level.
This website provides an overview of our philosophy, facilities, staff and services.

Dental Implants are the ultimate technique for replacing missing teeth in which a titanium "root" is inserted into the bone, allowing for the new replacement tooth (or teeth) to not only have a very strong, stable, and long-lasting base, but also to enjoy all the comfort, functionality, and beauty of healthy teeth.
Dental implants can be used to support a number of dental prostheses, including crowns, implant-supported bridges or dentures. They can also be used as anchorage for orthodontic tooth movement.
Dental Implants require the same treatment as regular teeth: adequate brushing, flossing and dental hygiene visits.
Also called prosthetic dentistry, prosthodontics involves the replacement of teeth or gum tissue with artificial devices to maintain function, comfort, health and an attractive appearance.
Our technological capabilities in this area partner with years of expertise performing procedures including single and multiple tooth implants, crowns and bridges, partial dentures, full dentures, and removable dentures.
Periodontal disease, commonly known as “gum disease”, occurs when bacteria infect the parts of the gums around the teeth, forming pockets and destroying tissue and bone if left untreated.
Worse yet, the infections can lead to teeth loss, and have even been linked to more serious problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and low birth-weight babies.
Fortunately, however, periodontal disease is preventable and controllable, and we offer advanced disease-control treatments and cosmetic gum procedures.
Endodontics is the branch of dentistry which deals with the tooth pulp and the tissues surrounding the root of a tooth. It includes a variety of procedures such as root canal therapy, endodontic retreatment, surgery, treating cracked teeth, and treating dental trauma. Root canal therapy is one of the most common procedures. If the pulp (containing nerves, arterioles, venulels, lymphatic tissue and fibrous tissue) becomes diseased or injured, endodontic treatment is required to save the tooth.
Pediatric Dentistry is the branch of dentistry dealing with children from birth through to adolescence. This discipline focuses on pediatric/adolescent growth and development, disease causality and prevention, child psychology and management, and all aspects of the highly-specialized Pediatric restorative techniques and modalities.
TMD/TMJ describes a group of diseases that can involve the jaw joints, the muscles that control jaw movement and the dental occlusion. TMJ / TMDs are physical disorders arising from an imbalance in the delicate working relationship of the jaw and skull with the muscles that move the jaw, as well as the nervous system associated with these systems. This imbalance results in muscle fatigue, spasm and/or joint dysfunction, and even changes in the teeth, which in turn cause a variety of symptoms, unique for each person.
Oral Surgery includes the diagnosis, surgical and related treatment of diseases, injuries and defects involving both the functional and esthetic aspects of the hard and soft tissues of the head, mouth, teeth, gums, jaws and neck.
It covers a wide variety of treatments such as extraction of wisdom teeth, impacted teeth and root fragments, removal of cysts and benign tumors, removal of soft tissue injures, preprosthetic surgery, periodontal surgery, apicectomy, dental implants, facial trauma, bone grafts...
Central sterilization area
We maintain a fully equipped central sterilization area, where all dental instruments are first cleaned in ultrasonic baths and are then sterilized under pressure in our autoclave machines. Proper functioning of sterilization cycles are verified by periodic use of spore tests called biologic indicators, and chemical indicators.
Digital panoramic and cone beam 3D imaging
OP300 combines an advanced panoramic imaging system with either cephalometric or cone beam 3D or a combination of both, providing a truly adaptable platform for different imaging applications and dental specialities. The OP300 utilizes the latest in CMOS sensor technology. CMOS sensors provide a larger dynamic range combined with 14-bit image data and increased signal-to-noise ratio. The result is intensely sharp image with reduction of unwanted under- and overexposures.
